Description
The history of the Italian company RMS dates back to 1945, which, in addition to tuning parts, produces first-class spare parts and accessories in absolute original equipment quality for classic Vespa scooters.
The Vespa drum brake consists of several components: the brake anchor plate, the brake pads and the brake drum. The divisible rim is screwed to the brake drum. Whether unsightly due to age or worn out by many KM, a new brake drum improves the look of your scooter and at the same time the braking performance is usually better!
Over the years and many model generations, many different brake drums have been installed! Therefore, it is imperative to measure the old drum. Worst mistake is a wrong sealing ring seat and leakage oil on the rear brake drum!
Therefore, always pay attention to inch size, rim open or closed as well as the diameter of the sealing ring seat. These are always indicated if there were different models from the factory!
10" rims open, Ø inside 150 mm, shaft seal seat 31.5 mm
Attention: for Cosa models please measure, mostly 170 mm drums are installed.
