Description

Kymco 4-stroke engines supplied from the factory are usually equipped with a restricted CDI unit. This CDI unit cuts out at 8000 RPM. Consequently, it will never be possible for you to achieve the full performance from your engine with a restricted CDI - even with a different exhaust system, larger carburetor, or even increased displacement - the CDI will always hinder you. This CDI unit puts an end to that. No more RPM limitation - your scooter can rev to its full potential.

  • Installation is very simple and can be carried out quickly

Best price-performance ratio.

Important Note: Only suitable for scooters with DC ignition systems.

Note: Whether an AC or DC CDI unit is installed can be determined as follows:

  • Disconnect the battery
  • Turn on the ignition
  • Start with the kickstarter

If the scooter starts, an AC CDI unit is installed.

If the scooter does not start, a DC CDI unit is installed.
