Description
Racing pulley with optimized flank angle . Original pulleys for cost reasons usually cast or pressed in the worst case of steel. Upon cooling , the discs cushioning effect somewhat , thereby let -measure differences in the flank angle . For racing engines with their narrow usable rev band such deviations have direct impact on performance . The Stage6 Racing Pulley is precision CNC machined from solid material . A total of 12 different versions were tested until the optimum angle could be determined. By using a high-quality aluminum alloy and a special surface coating using cooler blades has become superfluous. The reduced mass of course has a positive effect on the rear wheel performance . The conception of pulley for use in sprint races . Freddy Koopmans used the Stage6 Racing Drive however successfully since the 2004 season in his racing scooters
