Description

Structurally, the original ribbed belt pulley with the drive star is, to put it mildly, an "unfortunate" variant. The star pulley is simply too thin to transmit the forces acting on the pulley without wear. It is not uncommon for the pulley to break. The result is often a detached pulley with fatal consequences or a destroyed crankshaft stub. The NARAKU-HS-CNC ribbed belt pulley provides a solution with a positive side effect. This pulley is fully toothed and can therefore completely do without the star pulley. In addition, the CNC-machined running surface of the pulley ensures clean, low-vibration ribbed belt operation. The flank angle has been adjusted and additionally enables an increase in speed. For proper power transmission, the toothing has been manufactured to the smallest tolerances. Please note during assembly that the ribbed belt pulley may be mounted slightly tighter to the crankshaft if the toothing has already been affected by the original star pulley.
