Description
The Portuguese tuning specialist has been a guarantor for high-quality scooter gearboxes for years. Thanks to state-of-the-art production facilities and over 50 years of experience, many European tuning brands have their gearboxes manufactured by Top Racing. The relatively simple assembly of Top Racing gearboxes is of course one more reason to choose the Portuguese house brand.
In order to convert engine power into speed, you need not only more power but also a longer gearbox. Since most vehicles are equipped with a very short gearbox ex works, a longer gearbox should be fitted to protect the engine from over-revving and to be able to use more speed.
Primary gearboxes from Top Racing are already pressed and ready for installation. Simply replace them with the original parts and you're done.
There should definitely be enough engine power available.
Details:
- Not advisable for 50ccm.
- Suitable for Minarelli engines with original intermediate shaft with 13 teeth.
- Filling quantity gear oil Minarelli horizontal and Minarelli vertical 110ml SAE 75W-80
- The gearbox housing is identical for both engines
- Factory specification Top Racing: Gear ratio 14/42 +33% longer than original
Note: Tuning gears are usually straight cut to reduce friction. This leads to increased noise during operation. However, this is completely harmless.
