Description
By machining or installing a tuning cylinder, the engine achieves more power, which it can also convert to a higher speed.
Unfortunately, the original final gear ratios are usually chosen so that the original engine with its available power can pull these without problems. As soon as more horsepower is applied, the engine rotates quickly at higher speeds "dead", the speeds increase, but the end speed hardly increases.
The gears and intermediate shafts are not only first-class processed here, but they also offer the essential advantages of bringing the final speeds to a tolerable level and at the same time letting the top speed rise properly!
Do not worry about the fairytale tales, the engine would not come out so well with a longer gear ratio: usually only a few harder clutch springs suffice and compensate this. On the contrary, the gearbox is far too short for the horse stables, you can even give valuable power as the engine could pull much more!
