Very important component!
The oil pump belt runs on this sprocket, and it simultaneously drives the water pump located in the engine block in water-cooled engines. Often the fit inside the sprocket wears out and it can happen that the water pump shaft is no longer rotated! Consequence: Catastrophic engine damage due to overheating!
Should not be forgotten during any inspection.
