Description

Crankshaft oil seal for all 50cc two-stroke Minarelli engines.

Our oil seals are high-quality seals that are often used as standard by many manufacturers.

Oil seals should always be checked. Like any other seal, they are subject to normal wear and tear and no longer seal perfectly after a certain mileage. Their moving sealing lips, which sit directly on the crankshaft, seal the crankcase. A hardened or defective oil seal can cause slight leakage at this point and the engine will draw in false air.

Consequence: The fuel-air mixture becomes lean, combustion becomes too hot, and in the worst case, you risk engine damage in the long run. Initially, poor starting behavior and poorly adjustable carburetors indicate a leaking oil seal.

If an oily film is found around the crankshaft oil seal, this also indicates leakage.

Replacement oil seals should therefore not be missing from any workshop.
