Description
The four-stroke engine has a closed oil circuit filled with the engine oil needed to lubricate its components.
The heat generated by the combustion engine also causes certain parts of the engine oil to be burned, resulting in small deposits and soot particles in the oil. However, in order to preserve the full lubricating properties of the engine oil, an oil filter is absolutely necessary. It usually sits in the oil circuit directly after the oil pump (to prevent excessive pressure drop) and filters out the harmful particles from the engine oil.
We recommend that you change the oil filter with every oil change according to the manufacturer's specifications. If you regularly check the oil level and keep the change intervals, you have something of your engine for longer!
