Description

The four-stroke engine has a closed oil circuit and lubricates the moving components in the engine during operation. Each manufacturer has different requirements for the oils, but they all generally use the same type of oil filter!

The heat generated by the internal combustion engine causes certain components in the engine oil to burn, which leads to small deposits and also soot particles in the oil. However, to ensure that the complete lubricating properties of the engine oil are maintained over a longer period of time, an oil filter is absolutely necessary. It is usually located in the oil circuit directly after the oil pump (to prevent excessive pressure drop) and filters out the harmful particles from the engine oil.

We recommend that you always replace the oil filter along with the oil at each oil change according to the manufacturer's specifications. Those who regularly check the oil level and adhere to the change intervals will get more out of their engine for longer!
