Description

The four-stroke engine has a closed oil circuit and lubricates the moving components in the engine during operation. Each manufacturer has different requirements for the oils, but they all usually have the same type of oil filter!

The heat generated by the internal combustion engine causes certain components in the engine oil to burn, which leads to small deposits and soot particles in the oil. However, to maintain the complete lubricating properties of the engine oil over a longer period, an oil filter is absolutely necessary. It is usually located in the oil circuit directly after the oil pump (to prevent excessive pressure drop) and filters harmful particles out of the engine oil.

We recommend always changing the oil filter with every oil change as specified by the manufacturer. Anyone who regularly checks the oil level and adheres to the change intervals will get more out of their engine for longer!
