The Highsider SMART mirror adapter made of chromed steel converts a mirror mount with M10 x 1.25 right-hand thread to M8 x 1.25 right-hand thread.

Standard fittings with M10 mounts do not directly accept accessory mirrors with M8 shafts. The adapter bridges the difference and thus expands the selection of mountable mirrors without the need to drill or re-cut the fitting. The chromed surface matches fittings and mirrors in chrome.

Mounting and Application Instructions

  • The adapter is screwed into the mirror mount of the fitting, then the mirror is placed on top and locked. After assembly, the secure fit and mirror alignment must be checked.

  • Before purchase, the thread of the fitting (M10 x 1.25) and the internal thread of the mirror (M8 x 1.25) should be cross-referenced.
