Michelin Bib Mousse
The puncture-proof alternative to a hose.
Michelin Bib Mousse is a foam rubber ring that replaces the hose and, when new, corresponds to an air pressure of approx. 0.9 bar.
Michelin Bib Mousse was specially developed for off-road competition (cross, enduro or rally) and is only used in Michelin tires. We do not recommend using Michelin Bib Mousse in tires from other brands.
The Michelin Bib Mousse is marked NHS (Not for Highway Service) and is therefore not designed for use on public roads. It must not be stored permanently at temperatures above 30°C and temperatures above 40°C should be avoided in principle.
Michelin Bib Mousse has a maximum useful life of 6 months from the date of installation and a maximum of 18 months from the date of manufacturer. However, this can be significantly reduced when used for very demanding purposes.
A tube of gel is included in the packaging. It is used to reduce the heating caused by friction between tires and bib mousse.
