Description

Malossi Spring Plate „Torsion Cover” – smoother CVT, better shifting behavior

When the contrast spring in the variator twists, the shifting behavior suffers noticeably. This is exactly where the Malossi Spring Plate „Torsion Cover” comes in: The coated plastic plate ensures that the contrast spring no longer sits directly on the clutch. This reduces twisting to a minimum.

Additionally, vibrations of the converter unit at high RPM are reduced – the result is cleaner, more stable shifting and a smoother engine run. Especially for scooters such as Vespa Primavera 50, Piaggio Zip 50 or Aprilia SR 50, this is a noticeable advantage in everyday use and with sporty tuning.

Important: Due to the installation, the spring preload increases. This means: Your CVT system must be retuned afterwards.
