Description

The 2016 MALOSSI 210 cylinder kits Sport and MHR are delivered with a VERTEX piston with graphite coating. Graphite as a surface coating provides less friction and, if necessary, a certain "emergency running property" if it gets stuck. Compared to the previous ASSO piston, the new VERTEX piston has approximately 10% less weight. In addition, the piston skirt is shorter, meaning that when using 60 long-stroke crankshafts, the piston no longer needs to be shortened in the lower part. The piston windows are larger and much better adapted to the channels.

The piston can be used in all 210 cylinder kits including "old" versions.

Note: The pistons are specifically assigned to the cylinder kits by a letter (0, A, B...). We always recommend using an "A" piston with an "A" cylinder, for example. Malossi stamps the corresponding letter into the cylinder base in the area of the sealing surface.
