Description

Alternator with integrated, contactless, fully electronic ignition fits BMW R50/2, R50S, R50US, R60/2, R60US, R69S, R69US and similar.

ATTENTION!

  • For BMW vehicles with 17 mm crankshaft shaft only (measured at the wide end of the cone)
  • Not suitable for BMW vehicles with weight-reduced flywheel

Upgrade to 12V/150W

This system replaces the original six-volt alternator 45/60L including breaker, regulator and ignition magnet with centrifugal actuator.

No changes to the engine housing are necessary for installation.

The ignition is controlled by the crankshaft in this system, as there are full angles (only half angles on the camshaft) and the ignition can be adjusted more precisely. In addition, a possible playbetween crankshaft and camshaft does not affect ignition. The free space on the camshaft can now be used to install the ignition coil.

  • fully electronic, contactless ignition with automatic ignition adjustment
  • significantly brighter light and better illumination
  • no more wear on coals, collectors and centrifugal force controllers
