This LeoVince muffler features an embossed E-number and an "e-pass." Road approval in Germany and within the European Union is valid only if the muffler is installed according to manufacturer specifications and operated unchanged.

The approval is exclusively valid for the European market, especially for Germany. Usage outside the European Union may be subject to differing national regulations.

Installation Instructions

A LeoVince muffler is designed for particularly easy installation and manufactured in proven SLIP-ON design. The original muffler is first loosened. Depending on the version, the supplied connection pipe is then inserted to optimally adjust angle and alignment to the vehicle. Afterwards, the muffler is slid on precisely, attached at the standard mounting points, and securely fixed with the included springs.

After exact alignment in the desired position, clamps and screws are evenly tightened. A brief functionality check while stationary and retightening of the connections after the first kilometers ensure a permanently firm fit. The precise construction noticeably facilitates the conversion.
