Description
Open intake manifold for all large two-stroke engines from Piaggio / Gilera (standard on 125 - 180 ccm Piaggio engines).
- Compatible with original DellOrto 20.5 mm and Mikuni VM20 carburetors
The intake manifolds become porous over time, causing the engine to draw in false air. This leads to a lean fuel/air mixture and hotter combustion, with the risk of piston seizure. Therefore, always inspect the intake manifold during each maintenance service, gently flexing it. Cracks are usually clearly visible under the clamp.
Not suitable for 50 ccm Piaggio models due to the carburetor connection width, unless a larger carburetor has been installed.
