NOTE
The P125X/P150X models have a static ignition timing of 21° before the upper dead center. To do this, install the ignition base plate so that the marking in the engine housing points exactly between the 'A' and 'IT' marks on the ignition base plate. The ignition contacts are then adjusted so that they open 0.3-0.5 mm when the piston is in the upper dead center (check with a sensor gauge through the viewing window in the pole wheel). When the flywheel is attached, the contact is adjusted through the viewing window. To do this, slightly loosen the contact locking screw and adjust the contact in the arrow-shaped recess with a flat head screwdriver by turning it, then fix the locking screw again.

Please lubricate the felt pad with a few drops of oil or suitable grease. This is fundamentally important for a permanently stable ignition timing. Without lubrication, the ignition contact cam wears out quickly and thus automatically reduces the contact gap.
