Selecting the Right Chain Lock

Snap-on rivet locks can be easily installed independently in the garage / workshop. Depending on the performance of the motorcycle, however, these should be riveted by a specialist afterwards. Manufacturers recommend snap-on rivet locks only for motorcycles with up to 600 cc or 50 hp. A riveting tool is required for the installation of rivet locks. Alternatively, installation should be carried out in a workshop. For endless chains, the swingarm must be removed for installation.
