Selecting the Right Chain Lock
Clip locks can easily be installed independently in the garage/workshop. However, depending on the motorcycle's power, these should subsequently be riveted by a professional. Manufacturers recommend clip locks only for motorcycles with up to 600 cc or 50 HP. A riveting tool is required for the installation of rivet locks. Alternatively, the installation should be done in a workshop. For endless chains, the swingarm must be removed for installation.
