Carbone looks back on a company history that began in 1979 and has specialized in the development of strut suspensions for motorcycles since the 1980s. With the renewed boom of Vespa and Lambretta at the beginning of the 2000s, the company focused specifically on shock absorbers for these cult vehicles.

Since the founding of Carbone S.r.l. in 2009, the company has been manufacturing on approximately 2,000 m² of production space in Italy and today ranks among the leading manufacturers of aftermarket strut suspensions for Piaggio Vespa.
