This LeoVince rear silencer features an embossed E-number and an "e-pass". Street legality in Germany and within the European Union exists only if the silencer is installed according to the manufacturer's specifications and operated unmodified.

The approval applies exclusively to the European market, particularly Germany. Use outside the European Union may be subject to differing national regulations.

Installation Instructions

A LeoVince rear silencer is designed for particularly easy installation and is manufactured in a proven SLIP-ON design. The original silencer is first loosened. Depending on the version, the supplied connecting pipe is then inserted to optimally adapt the angle and alignment to the vehicle. The rear silencer is then plugged on to fit and fastened at the standard mounting points and securely fixed with the included springs.

After exact alignment in the desired position, the clamps and screws are tightened evenly. A brief functional check while stationary and retightening the connections after the first few kilometers ensure a permanently secure fit. The precise construction makes the conversion noticeably easier.
