This LeoVince exhaust muffler has an embossed E-number and an "e-Pass". Road approval in Germany and within the European Union exists only if the muffler is installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions and operated unchanged.

The approval applies exclusively to the European market, especially Germany. Use outside the European Union may be subject to differing national regulations.

Installation Instructions

A LeoVince exhaust muffler is designed for particularly easy installation and is made in proven SLIP-ON construction. The original muffler is first loosened. Depending on the version, the supplied connecting pipe is then installed to optimally adapt the angle and alignment to the vehicle. Afterwards, the muffler is pushed on precisely, attached at the standard mounting points, and securely fixed with the included springs.

After exact alignment in the desired position, clamps and screws are evenly tightened. A brief functional check while stationary and retightening of connections after the first kilometers ensure a permanently secure fit. The precise construction noticeably facilitates the conversion.
