This LeoVince muffler has an embossed E-number and an "e-pass". Road approval in Germany and within the European Union exists only if the muffler is installed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and operated without alteration.

The approval is valid exclusively for the European market, especially Germany. Use outside the European Union may be subject to different national regulations.

Installation Instructions

A LeoVince muffler is designed for particularly easy installation and manufactured in proven SLIP-ON design. The original muffler is first loosened. Depending on the version, the supplied connecting pipe is then inserted to optimally adjust angle and alignment to the vehicle. After that, the muffler is pushed on precisely, attached at the standard mounting points, and securely fixed with the included springs.

After exact alignment in the desired position, clamps and screws are tightened evenly. A brief functional check while stationary as well as retightening the connections after the first kilometers ensures a permanently secure fit. The precisely fitting construction noticeably facilitates the conversion.
