This LeoVince muffler features an embossed E-number and an "e-pass". Road approval in Germany and within the European Union exists only if the muffler is installed according to the manufacturer's specifications and operated unchanged.

The approval applies exclusively to the European market, particularly Germany. Use outside the European Union may be subject to differing national regulations.

Installation Instructions

A LeoVince muffler is designed for particularly easy assembly and is manufactured in the proven SLIP-ON design. The original muffler is first loosened. Depending on the version, the supplied connecting pipe is then inserted to optimally adapt the angle and alignment to the vehicle. Then, the muffler is fitted precisely, attached to the standard mounting points, and securely fixed with the included springs.

After precise alignment in the desired position, clamps and screws are tightened evenly. A brief function test while stationary and retightening the connections after the first few kilometers of riding ensure a permanently firm fit. The precision-fit construction makes the conversion noticeably easier.
