Description

The Highsider SMART clutch switch replaces the original contact switch on the clutch lever assembly. The spare part corresponds to original equipment quality and is installed as a replacement for the original part. One piece is delivered.

If the standard switch is defective, the engine no longer starts when the clutch is pulled or the engine operation is interrupted. The replacement restores this function and is limited to the switch housing.

Installation and Application Notes

  • The defective switch is removed from the assembly, and the new one is inserted and connected. After installation, it must be checked whether the starter motor only operates when the clutch is pulled.

Note on Inspection Before Purchase

  • Before purchase, the design and connector pinout of the existing switch must be compared.
