There are only a few relays available for 6-volt systems because most flasher units are designed for 12 volts. The aluminum housing dissipates waste heat and protects the electronics mechanically.

Mounting and Application Notes
- The old relay is removed and the new one is connected according to the L and X assignments. After connection, the flasher function and flashing frequency must be checked.
