Description

The resistor of the Highsider SMART line is delivered with attached cables and is placed between the flasher relay and the LED turn signal. It increases the load in the turn signal circuit to the value expected by the stock electronics. It is intended for motorcycles with multi-function electronics where a load that is too low is recognized as an error.

Installation and application instructions

  • The resistor is inserted into the turn signal circuit between the relay or control unit and the turn signal. After connection, the flashing function, flashing frequency, and any possible error message in the display must be checked.

Note on inspection before purchase

  • Before purchase, it must be checked whether the turn signal system works correctly with the low LED load without a resistor.
