The Malossi aluminum cylinder with 172 ccm is one of the most commonly used big-bore setups for 125 ccm and 180 ccm scooters with a Piaggio 2-stroke engine. Even at 180 ccm, the cylinder delivers noticeably more acceleration than the slightly larger displacement original cylinder – ideal if you want to make your Gilera Runner or Piaggio Hexagon noticeably more powerful.

Thanks to perfect workmanship and strong performance values, this is a top choice for everyone who wants more than stock. With the matching components such as a Malossi exhaust, full-cheek crankshaft, intake manifold, carburetor, etc., performance values of over 30 hp are realistic. However, you can also run the cylinder with standard components – then you get powerful cruising with long durability at the same time (clean carburetor tuning is, of course, mandatory).

Important: This item does not include a cylinder head dome and serves as a replacement for the M.3111140 cylinder kit.
