Description

The Schmitt bearing rubber/adapter is an indispensable component for all Simson S50, S51 and S70 owners who want to install the large Schmitt STT43021 gas tank. This adapter makes it possible to mount the tank, which was originally developed for Simson Hawk, Sparrowhawk or SR4 models, safely and stably on the original frame of the S50, S51 and S70 models. The adapter consists of a high-quality rubber molding that is simply plugged into the Simson frame via the original attachment points. This provides a secure and dampened connection between frame and tank, which minimizes vibrations and keeps the tank in an optimal position. The adapter ensures an ideal distance from the control head and the telescopic bars, which increases driving safety. The mounting bracket article STT49647 is recommended for mounting on the S50 or S51 upper strap or frame.
