Description

The brake light switch from Highsider SMART replaces the original contact switch of the brake light control and is manufactured in OE quality. It is available for the front and for the rear.

If the contact switch fails, the brake light remains dark without the brake itself being affected. Replacing it with a part in OE quality restores the function without requiring intervention in the brake hydraulics.

Installation and Application Notes

  • The defective switch is unplugged and removed, and the replacement switch is placed in the same position and reconnected. After installation, it must be checked whether the brake light responds correctly and turns off again for both the hand and foot brake.
