Description

The Highsider SMART brake light switch replaces the original contact switch of the brake light control and is manufactured in original equipment quality. It is available for the front and for the rear.

If the contact switch fails, the brake light remains dark without the brake itself being affected. The replacement with a part in original equipment quality restores the function without having to intervene in the brake hydraulics.

Mounting and application instructions

  • The defective switch is unplugged and removed, and the replacement switch is placed in the same position and reconnected. After assembly, it must be checked whether the brake light responds cleanly and extinguishes again for both the hand and foot brake.

Note on inspection before purchase

  • Before purchase, it should be verified whether the switch is required for the front or rear brake and whether the design and plug connection correspond to the existing part.
