Description

The brake light switch from Highsider SMART replaces the original contact switch of the brake light control and is manufactured in original equipment quality. It is available for the front and for the rear.

If the contact switch fails, the brake light remains dark without the brake itself being affected. Replacing it with a part in original equipment quality restores the function without having to intervene in the brake hydraulics.

Mounting and Application Instructions

  • The defective switch is unplugged and removed, the replacement switch is placed in the same position and reconnected. After installation, check whether the brake light responds cleanly and turns off again for both the hand and foot brake.

Note on Inspection Before Purchase

  • Before purchasing, check whether the switch is required for the front or the rear brake and whether the design and plug connection correspond to the existing part.
