The Highsider SMART electronic flasher relay is designed with two poles and operates at 12 volts. It is also compatible with vehicles featuring a three-pole connector.

Note

• For LED turn signals, use is only partially possible, specifically when a 5-watt indicator light on the cockpit lights up during flashing.

Because the ground connection is omitted, the relay operates with two lines and is therefore also suitable for slots where no separate ground is present. The assignment follows the usual marking 49 and 49a.

Installation and Application Notes

• The relay replaces the existing flasher relay in the slot; B is connected to battery plus and L to the turn signal switch. After installation, the flashing function and flashing frequency must be checked on both sides.

• Before purchase, the 12 V onboard voltage, the design of the slot, and, in the case of LED turn signals, the presence of a 5-watt indicator light on the cockpit must be checked.
