The high wall thickness of 3 mm makes the handlebar significantly stiffer than thin-walled tubes and reduces the vibrations that reach the hands via the grips. In addition to the classic shapes, there are also sporty variants in 25.4 mm as well as a version with a pressed bead for cable routing. Which handlebar type is approved is documented in the ABE, usually without further requirements; if a vehicle is not listed there, the ABE serves as supporting documentation for an individual approval.

Mounting and Application Notes

• The stock handlebar is loosened and the new handlebar is placed in the clamping brackets. Since the holes for the anti-twist locking of the switch controls are missing, the manufacturer recommends a drilling template from Highsider PRO for their transfer. After assembly, the steering lock, free movement of cables and lines in both end positions, as well as the firm seating of the clamping brackets must be checked.

• Before purchase, the clamping diameter of 25.4 mm, the handlebar width of 810 mm within the available installation space, and the vehicle's entry in the ABE must be checked.
