The handlebar kit 164HD52 contains the Highsider PRO Flat Track 14.9 handlebar made of chromed steel tubing with a 25.4 mm clamp diameter and 22.2 mm (7/8 inch) grip area. Because the handlebar is taller, the necessary longer braided steel brake line with black plastic coating and black anodized fittings is included.

Notes

• Currently, LSL handlebars are delivered in Highsider packaging.
• The original bar-end mirrors cannot be reused on this handlebar. Conversion to handlebar mirrors with brackets 130SP01 (M10 x 1.25) or to aftermarket bar-end mirrors with suitable adaptation is possible.
• Avoid contact with brake fluid, brake cleaner, oil, fuel, or polishing pastes containing abrasive particles.
• Only acid- and alkali-free cleaners are suitable for all handlebars and their surface variants. Check compatibility beforehand in an inconspicuous area, do not apply in direct sunlight, and do not allow the cleaner to dry.
• In case of improper cleaning and care, there is no claim to warranty or guarantee.

The lower grip position shifted towards the rider noticeably changes the seating posture towards an active riding style. The fact that the longer brake line is included saves the usual separate procurement after the handlebar change, as the stock hose is no longer sufficient with a higher handlebar. Mounting and Application Notes

• The stock handlebar is loosened and the new handlebar is placed in the clamp brackets. Since the holes for the twist-lock fixation of the switch controls are missing, the manufacturer recommends an LSL drilling template for their transfer. Subsequently, the included braided steel line is routed and the brake is bled. After assembly, the steering lock, free line routing in both end positions, and the brake pressure point must be checked.

Note on verification before purchase

• Before purchase, the clamp diameter of 25.4 mm, the grip diameter of 22.2 mm, and the entry of the vehicle in the accompanying ABE must be checked.
