Highsider Conversion Set Kawasaki Z 900 Year 2017-2026 - STS 1 LED turn signals sequential + Akron-RS PRO license plate holder + MXT relay + Indy Spacer

The Highsider turn signal set contains all required components for the complete conversion of the Kawasaki Z 900 (Year 2017-2026) to sequential LED turn signals with a vehicle-specific license plate holder and license plate lighting. All Highsider components are E-approved. The load-independent MXT relay is required for the operation of the LED turn signals and is included in the set.

Important Note:

• The MXT relay is designed as a universal relay (2-pin, compatible with 3-pin connector) - check connection compatibility on the vehicle before installation.
• If side reflectors are installed on the original holder, these must be repositioned after the conversion.

The four STS-1 turn signals are divided into two installation positions: the two rear turn signals are mounted on the adjustable turn signal arms of the Akron-RS PRO, the two front turn signals are fastened in the fairing openings using the Indy Spacer shim plates. The load-independent MXT relay stabilizes the flashing frequency and is designed for the operation of LED turn signals with a total consumption of 1-100 W.

Vehicle and Model Compatibility:

• The set is assembled vehicle-specifically for the Kawasaki Z 900 of the model years 2017 to 2026. The Akron-RS PRO license plate holder is Z-900-specific, the STS-1 turn signals are universal for M8 turn signal mounting. Before purchase, check the installation space for the front turn signals (housing depth 23 mm), the fairing openings (30 x 48 mm for Indy Spacer) as well as the connection compatibility of the MXT relay. Assembly and Application Notes:

• Recommended assembly sequence:
  • (1) Mount Akron-RS PRO at original mounting points, hook rear STS-1 turn signals onto turn signal arms.
  • (2) Mount front STS-1 turn signals in the fairing openings with Indy Spacers.
  • (3) Replace the original turn signal relay with the MXT relay.
  • (4) Establish all electrical connections and check for secure fit, adjust license plate tilt and turn signal position to the legally required position.
