Installation: Mount the carburetor without tension, check the intake manifold and seals for air leaks, adjust the throttle cable to move smoothly, ensure fuel supply (gasoline, oil, and underpressure).

Base setting: Mixture screw usually 1.5 - 2.5 turns open, idle screw for stable idle setting, always tune the engine warm.

Tuning:

• Main jet = full throttle / high load
• Needle position = part load & acceleration
• Idle jet = idle & starting (usually does not need to be changed)

Control: Check spark plug condition

• white = too lean
• black = too rich
• brown = optimal
