The Stage6 primary gear is a lengthened gear pair with the transmission ratio 15/38 (1:2.53) for Piaggio scooters from model year August 1998 with counter-bearing of the drive shaft in the variator cover. The gear is fully pre-pressed and ready for direct installation.

Important note:

• This gear is exclusively suitable for Piaggio scooters with 10-inch tires (Zip series). Not compatible with Typhoon and TPH. Exclusively for vehicles after August 1998 with counter-bearing in the variator cover - check before purchase. The lengthened transmission ratio absolutely requires a tuning cylinder - an original cylinder does not have the necessary drive force to pull the longer gear.

The lengthened transmission ratio of 1:2.53 compared to the stock gear increases the top speed provided there is sufficient engine power. The lengthening in percent is calculated according to the formula: ((tuning gear ratio : stock gear ratio) − 1) x (−100). Important: The smaller the transmission value, the longer the gear.
