Description

The traditional Italian company Athena has been producing high-quality spare parts for motorbikes and scooters since 1973 as a merger of 7 large industrial groups! The focus of the parts is direct OEM use, Athena supplies most manufacturers with gaskets and other thermally stressed parts directly from the factory! This means that you not only get OEM quality but in most cases even quasi-original spare parts.

Radial shaft seals are used on most motorbike and scooter forks to prevent leakage between oil and air between the stanchion and dip tube and to seal it reliably. In the course of many thousands of kilometres, natural wear occurs on the sealing ring, a light oil mist escapes after compression and smears the fork's immersion tube. Then you should act urgently, because the leakage will increase over time and kilometres. There is an acute risk that escaping oil can drip onto the brake disc!

The Athena oil seals are of course manufactured according to the corresponding DIN standard and thus meet the highest standards.
