Description

EBR is one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality two-wheel fork! Many manufacturers equip their scooters with the precisely and very high-quality manufactured suspension elements from the Italian chassis forge ex works!

Anyone who rides a Piaggio NRG will certainly have already struggled with the poorly damping original fork.

The factory-installed USD (Upside-Down) fork by Piaggio is not a proper USD fork, but only comes with a grease filling. The indicated oil seals are only grease scrapers. The fork loses all properties that should be present in a sensible front wheel guidance of a sports scooter, even at a young age after just a few thousand kilometers.

The grease leaks out, smears the stanchions, the TÜV (vehicle inspection) often complains about this. It bottoms out when compressing or also likes to get stuck at the bottom. Bumps on the road go directly to the driver...

The EBR fork is an oil-damped telescopic fork, with the lower tubes at the bottom. It was first used in this design in the large Gilera Runner models with the four-stroke engine (VX 125 and VXR 180 / 200).

The oil can of course be changed on this fork.

Especially with performance-enhanced scooters (but of course also with original ones!) you should invest a little in the chassis. With this fork you have a completely new riding experience, a better front wheel guidance and also the braking performance improves immensely due to the better immersion of the fork! So you are also doing something for your safety.
