Description

The drive shaft of the Vespa engines differs in form and details, although between the different models and between smallframe and largeframe, but has the identical function everywhere. On it, the brake drum and the rear wheel are mounted. In the interior of the engine, the gear gears are positioned on the shaft and the shifting cross is inserted inside the drive shaft, which establishes the force connection to the particular selected gear. The switch is connected to the switching ratchet via the switching rod.

The gear gears then engage the smaller ones of the secondary shaft.

A worn drive shaft leads to the jumping of the gears, especially with higher power motors. The shafts for PX old engines do not have as precise guidance for the switch as the Lusso versions. Therefore, this is also very popular for the complete retrofitting of PX old engines on Lusso gearbox technology! Lusso gearshift / cross / rod & gearwheels then do not forget.

Here: Type PX Lusso (as a spare part for all Lusso engines, of course 1: 1 interchangeable with the original part!)
