Clip locks can be easily installed independently in the garage / workshop. Depending on the performance of the motorcycle, these should be riveted by a specialist afterwards. Manufacturers recommend clip locks only for motorcycles with up to 600 ccm or 50 hp. A riveting tool is required for mounting riveting locks. Alternatively, the installation should be carried out in a workshop. For endless chains, the swing arm must be removed for installation.
