Description
The switch is one of the most heavily loaded parts in the Vespa engine. At every change of gear, it is positioned between gears by shift ratchet and shift rod and ensures the force connection to the drive shaft / rear wheel! This makes it a permanently loaded component which is subject to natural wear and tear.
When the engine is open, the switch should be subjected to a visual inspection at least! If the flanks show signs of wear or wear, it is immediately exchanged. A defective gear shift leads to the jumping of the gears and can cause even greater damage in case of excessive wear.
Caution: Depending on the Vespa and the year of construction, various models have been installed.

Must also be used with PX old when retrofitting to Lusso gearboxes.
