Description

The gearshift cross is one of the most loaded parts in the Vespa engine. With each gear change, it is positioned between the gear gears by means of the shifter and the shift rod and ensures the strength to the drive shaft/rear wheel! As a result, it is a permanently loaded component which is subject to natural wear and tear.

When the engine is open, the shift cross should at least be subjected to visual inspection! If there are traces of inlet or wear on the flanks, it is immediately replaced. A defective shift cross leads to the jump of the gears and can also cause greater damage if wear is too high.

Attention: Depending on the Vespa and the year of manufacture, different were installed
