Description
When good becomes even better, the bgm PRO Lambretta shafts are now the bgm PRO Competition shafts. The features that have proven themselves have remained, while important technical details have been further improved.
A total of 15 years of experience are invested in the bgm PRO Competition shafts. In the optimization, three further years of development work and tests were used to be able to realize a shaft that offers maximum torsional rigidity and stability.
In the English BSSO racing series, Team Replay started the 2018 season with numerous bgm parts. Among others with the new and revised bgm crankshaft. Replay's rider Darren Conneely achieved second place in Group 4.
- Improved features are:
- Ground press surfaces for maximum stability of the joint connection and thus the highest possible torsional rigidity
- Ground and coated crankpin
- Forged connecting rod with CNC finishing
- Hardened and ground bearing and shaft seal ring seats
- Broader selection of stroke and connecting rod combinations than before
- Quality assurance of every single crankshaft through 100% testing by an ISO and QC certified manufacturer
- What has remained:
- Full-cheek shaft for increased pre-compression
- Forged crank cheeks
- Low-vibration engine operation thanks to sophisticated balancing with hidden pockets, balance weights made of copper and tungsten
- Lubrication of the lower connecting rod bearing via two large lubrication slots
- Crankpin diameter 22 mm
