The crankshaft bearings allow the crankshaft in our engine to rotate. At an engine speed of 8000 - 10,000 revolutions per minute (or even more ...) one can quickly imagine what such a small bearing in his life makes with movement.
The replacement of the crankshaft bearings is indispensable when replacing the crankshaft or a motor revision.

Delivered are two high quality crankshaft bearings including a set of high quality shaft seal rings.

Please ensure correct installation. Extreme cleanliness and correct tools are important here. So that nothing goes wrong, we also have cleaners and special sealing compound for the crankcase in the assortment!

Notes on installation:

Heat the bearing seat of the housing half sufficiently with a hot air fan, insert the crankshaft bearing into the strongly heated bearing seat of the engine housing without tensing. In the second housing half as well. Subsequently, the inner ring of the bearing is carefully heated in the large housing half. The crankshaft can now be inserted into the bearing. After application of the sealing compound (in some engines instead of the sealing compound a paper seal is required) on the sealing surface of the small half of the engine, the inner ring of the bearing is heated sufficiently. Now the small housing half is mounted on the large one. Screw the housing screws crosswise (to avoid a misunderstood) and let everything cool down.

To ensure that the crankshaft is relaxed in the bearings, it is imperative to apply a set stroke with a copper hammer of the shaft on the left and right. The shaft must then rotate and run smoothly in the bearings, the connecting rod should be disengaged. Then insert the shaft seal rings.

The storage of the crankshaft is not a witchcraft, who leaves himself a bit of time and works thoroughly!
