Description

A set of high-quality Naraku SKF crankshaft bearings including Premium FKM seal rings suitable for various scooters with Piaggio 2-stroke engines, air- or water-cooled.

The bearing kit includes one SKF crankshaft bearing each for the left and right side and two FKM seal rings for the crankshaft. The polymer plastic cage, which has higher elasticity, reduces self-friction: The bearings run cooler and more smoothly. However, such bearings are more sensitive to incorrectly adjusted engines. The polyamide plastic cage must not be exposed to temperatures above 120°C permanently. Therefore, the bearings should not be installed in engines with catalytic converters.

Please note! When changing the crankshaft, always use new bearings and seal rings!! Install the half-open bearing side towards the crankshaft.

Explanation of the difference between FPM and FKM
The abbreviations or names mentioned refer to the same basic material, namely fluororubber. FKM is the abbreviation for Fluorelastomers according to the American standard ASTM.
In our range, all fluororubber items are designated with the abbreviation FKM.
