Description

For the 88ccm Big Bore cylinder kit of the Airsal Xtrem series, Airsal offers this 45mm stroke crankshaft as the only but also best shaft for this cylinder kit. As the name suggests, this shaft is designed for extreme loads and is only to be used for the 88ccm cylinder.

The completely forged shaft is manufactured from high-alloy 18NiCrMo5 steel and hardened with a special heat treatment process. The full-cheek design enables a higher pre-compression and thus ensures better cylinder filling. During the manufacture of the connecting rod, additional special attention was paid to the load capacity. The connecting rod is completely forged and surface-polished to strengthen the structure. It undergoes the same hardening process as the crankshaft, thereby guaranteeing absolutely low wear in the area of the bearing points. The silver needle bearings ensure excellent bearing and are stable up to over 16,000 rpm. A perfect, dynamically balanced crankshaft for the heaviest loads and optimal performance in high-end engines.

Suitable for Derbi engines EBE050 (kick-starter) and EBS050 (e-starter). Not suitable for Cagiva Mito, Derbi GPR EBS, Gilera GSM, Zulu.
